Ate’s Food Memoirs

Ate’s Favorite Trio
01
🍜 Palabok
A festive noodle dish topped with a rich shrimp sauce, crunchy chicharon, and hard-boiled eggs. Palabok always reminded me of birthdays and special gatherings growing up—bright, flavorful, and full of joy.
02
🍮 Kakanin
Sticky, sweet, and made with love—kakanin brings back memories of merienda with family. Whether it’s sapin-sapin or biko, these rice-based treats are a taste of tradition and comfort.
03
🍗 Chicken Adobo
Savory, tangy, and deeply satisfying, chicken adobo is the ultimate Filipino comfort food. It was one of the first dishes I wanted to learn, and it still brings warmth to every meal.
